Who We Are
Marcel has extensive experience in the mortgage and real estate industries. He has invested in real estate and served as a senior executive in Fortune 50 mortgage companies. A veteran of Fannie Mae and J.P. Morgan Chase, he has been called upon repeatedly to transform major industry initiatives, including President Obama’s Making Home Affordable program, Fannie Mae’s regulatory consent order and Chase’s implementation of the National Mortgage Settlement. Having served as a lawyer, compliance executive, and business leader, Marcel has navigated an increasingly regulated industry effectively and efficiently. He is often booked by mortgage and real estate industry groups, including the Five Star Institute and the National Association of Realtors, to speak on current topics and best practices. Marcel graduated from Yale College and from Yale Law School.
George has deep experience successfully buying and managing multifamily, single family and condo residential real estate investment properties in South Florida, Washington, DC and Maryland, including Baltimore. George also has over 20 years’ experience at J.P. Morgan Chase, Fannie Mae and the federal government. At Chase, George led the restructuring of its mortgage loan transfer operation. As an executive with Fannie Mae, he created a contracts “deal team” touted by an independent industry expert as “world class” in terms of its methods, customer satisfaction, employee satisfaction and bottom-line results. He was honored and rewarded for his outstanding federal service via a first ever sabbatical award to attend a master’s program at Harvard University. Following graduation George was recruited by the first Bush administration to develop and implement GovBenefits.gov, an award winning web site that enables U.S. citizens to easily determine eligibility for $2 trillion in federal benefits, delivered in a quarter of the scheduled time and with half the allotted budget.
